SOLAE had a big dream for their 'Summer Bloom' perfume launch—they wanted visuals that were absolutely stunning and totally unique. The problem? Creating high-concept fragrance ads with complex effects usually costs a fortune and takes forever. Our challenge was to prove we could deliver that high-end look through a smarter, faster approach.
Here's where AI became our secret weapon. Instead of replacing photography, we used AI to supercharge the creative process. For fragrance campaigns, you need those dreamy, fantastical backgrounds that usually require expensive location shoots or complex set builds. AI let us explore endless concepts and create stunning backdrops quickly and affordably. This meant the actual photoshoot could focus entirely on capturing the perfect product shots—no wasted time or budget on experimental setups.
First, we used AI to generate mood boards and concept images. This let SOLAE see exactly what the campaign would look and feel like—complete with colors, style, and atmosphere—all within days instead of weeks.
Next, we created multiple photorealistic environments using AI. We could test different moods, compositions, and settings for the perfume bottle without any location scouting or expensive set construction. What used to take weeks of pre-production happened in days.
Finally, the actual photoshoot was incredibly focused and efficient—we only needed to capture the perfume bottle with perfect lighting. Then we seamlessly blended these hero shots with our AI-generated backgrounds. The result? The same high-end impact as a traditional big-budget shoot, but with unlimited creative possibilities.
